Bickerton-Hudson, William James

Lance Corporal – Melbourn Detachment
4th Battalion – Royal Anglian Regiment
Awarded Marksman` status

For those of you not familiar with British Army terminology; ‘Detachment’ in this context denotes a troop of the British Army Cadet Force. Currently in place in schools across the British Isles to train potential recruits into the regular British Army. I opted out at the rank of Lance Corporal, due to ethical issues with serving for the regular Army.

Acheived top grades for training as a Combat Medical Technician
254 Field Ambulance Royal Army Medical Corps
Territorial Army Volunteer Reserve
although did not serve
